Stephen Ray signs with Spring Hill College in Mobile,AL(2010)

 

Stephen Ray has signed a soccer scholarship with Spring Hill College in Mobile,AL. Stephen has played competitive soccer for the past ten years and has played and trained with Bay United for the majority of that time. He attended Mosley High School were he was a great leader both on and off the soccer field. He was involved with many organizations such as Fellowship of Christian Students, Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Science Club. Stephen has great leadership as shown in the 100+ hours he has given back to his community by service as a Youth Soccer Camp Instructor, Youth Soccer Coach, Catholic Charities, and a Camp Leader for Vacation Bible School. Stephen led his soccer team as not only a starter three years in a row but also as Team Captain. During his soccer high school career he has been honored by receiving the Soccer Leadership Award, Principal's Athletic Award, MVP, Best Defensive Player Award, All County, All District, Highest Senior GPA and Bay United's club wide Goicoechea/Shepard Sportsmanship Award. He has also received 4 years of Academic Letters. Please join us in congratulating Stephen for outstanding accomplishments and wishing him the best of luck in the future.

 

 

Anna Hall signs with Rollins College(2010)

 

Anna Hall who has been playing soccer since the age of 4 has recently signed to play at Rollins College on a soccer scholarship. Anna has been playing select soccer since the age of 8 and has been either training or playing with Bay United for the last 7 years. She also played and started on the Florida State ODP team from 2004-2007 and the FL State ODP Region III team in January 2009. Anna was a four year starter for Mosley High School and has won many awards as a player and student during those years including All County 2008-2010 and All District 2008-2010. She was named Mosley Soccer Best Defender (Junior and Senior years), MVP Award (Sophomore and Senior years) and Coaches MVP Award (Freshman year). She was also selected to play in the Florida Athletics Coaches Association High School All Star Game for the North Team (Senior Year). Please join us in congratulating Anna for her past accomplishments and also wishing her the best of luck in college.
