Travel/Competitive Teams

The Bay United Soccer Club Select/Competitive Travel program was formed to serve the needs of highly committed soccer players with advanced skills. Select teams are chosen through try-outs.  

The select program is year-long running from August through May and is sub-divided into Fall and Spring Seasons. Select teams typically practice twice per week for 1.5 hours with a qualified and licensed coaches. The select teams play a greater number of matches and typically travel one or two weekends per month. The distance of travel is usually based on each specific team's competitive level.

The select program also provides additional training opportunities for BUSC players such as Goalkeeper Academy, Striker Training, Camps and other programs. Bay United's programs provide athletes with instruction from the areas most qualified staff of dedicated coaches.

 - to encourage our players to be the best that they can be
 - to foster a team atmosphere in which the good of the whole team is valued as well as the needs of the individual
 - to provide opportunities for athletes to experience the sense of pride and accomplishment that comes from dedication and teamwork
 - to foster the development of physical, mental, social,  and emotional fitness
 - to open the doors of opportunity for our players to play Middle School, High School, or College level soccer as well as in the Olympic Development Program  
 - to have fun in the process of playing soccer

Select/Travel Fees:

Required Player Uniform Package 
2 Adidas Game Jerseys--1 Royal Blue & 1 White  
1 Adidas Royal Short  
1 pair Adidas Socks 
1 Performance Practice T-shirt ($12.00)  

 Seasonal Fees

Annual Registration Fee  
$100 - Fall (All Players) or $55 - Spring (New Players only)

  • Due upon acceptance to a team. Immediately following try-outs your registration fee must be paid in order to secure your place on a team by July 1.
  • This fee registers a player with FYSA and US Club for the seasonal year (Fall 2018 - Spring 2019)  
  • Only new players joining Bay United in the Spring will owe the $55 registration fee for the Spring. 
  • Registration Fees include: FYSA and US Club Player Registration, FYSA & US Club Insurance, and Club Administration Costs

Club Fee -$700/yr
  • This fee is paid per season, in the Fall and in the Spring based on a 14 week training session 
  • Season Club Fees are paid in monthly installments 

Event Fee- varies est. $600/yr
Event Fees will be determined each season (Fall and Spring) for each individual team by the Head Coach and Team Manager. Event Fees cover expenses such as tournament registration fees and the Head Coach's travel expenses during the season to each tournament.  Reimbursement expenses for the Head Coach include Hotel, Food and Mileage.  
  • Event Fees are divided evenly among all travel players on the team
  •  Event Fees are paid in monthly installments
